Siri’s assistance to iOS 15
The new features of Siri are for the iPhones with A12 bionic processors or even new. Such features make sure that your iPhone device shows quite an improved performance. Here are some features for the new Siri update in the iPhone.
1. Neural text-to-speech feature: in this feature, more languages are added like Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish. This feature was already prevalent in Siri but for iOS 15, it has updated the languages.
2. Speech recognition model: the audio request is now fully processed in iPhone XR or XS. Even the sharing is optional. The Apple Neural Search Engine enables speech recognition and with higher quality like server-based speech recognition.
3. Maintaining context between requests: this improved feature enables Siri to keep context between the requests so that you don’t lag reference.
4. Offline processing support: the timers, alarms, settings, messaging, app launch, and sharing in iOS 15 could be processed offline by Siri without internet connectivity. But for doing that, the user requires iPhone XR or XS.
5. Notification on Air Pods: the notifications that are incoming & time-sensitive could be shown by Siri on the Air Pods itself. Not just that, the user can get notifications of any app through Settings.
6. Monitor home devices: the user can set timings in Siri for monitoring and keeping a check on the home devices by special sensors. Like when he is not at home, he can command Siri “Hey Siri, turn off the lights when I’m gone”, and Siri would do that. How user-friendly!
7. Sharing made easy: the user can share his screen and other items like photos, web pages, Apple Music, Podcast content, etc. with other users too. Siri would do that for him.
8. On-screen Contact reference: don’t worry if you’re driving or you missed a call. You can tell Siri to give you a reference of the contact on the screen and it will text them/call them as per your command.
If you are an iPhone user & tend to use Siri for your everyday work, then this is the best upgrade. Use it and you will be surprised. For more news related to technology, tune in to MindStick News.
